Kim is a 1996 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She earned her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech as well. Prior to opening Disputanta Animal Hospital, Kim practiced veterinary medicine at an animal hospital beginning in 1996 and began running a house call service in 1997. She opened the hospital in 2004. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and a large extended family of “four legged” kids.
Dr. Anastasia Cerreto is a 2019 graduate of the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Cerreto earned her undergraduate degree from Longwood University in Farmville, Va. She then attended graduate school at the University of Florida studying Entomology. Dr. Cerreto and her husband, John, have three dogs, two Borzoi (Porter and Flora), and a Bloodhound (Harper). They also have two cats, a Siamese cross (Silver) and a Tonkinese (Rio). Dr. Cerreto enjoys spending her free time racing and showing her Borzoi and horseback riding. She has special interests in sports medicine/rehabilitation.
Donna joined our staff in 2004. Has had a wonderful career and extensive education but none as rewarding as leading this team in supporting our clients and their pet children.
Joined the Disputanta Animal Hospital family in 2004. Married and has 2 children, 2 dogs and 4 cats. Rene loves spending time outdoors and with her family.
Allison grew up in Hampton Roads, VA and moved to Surry in 2010. She and her husband have 6 children and 5 grandchildren. They live on 20 acres and have 4 horses, 2 goats, 4 dogs, 1 barn cat and a multitude of chickens. Has worked with animals since she was 14 years old.
Worked with us in 2005-2006 and returned in 2017 after being in the human medical field and realizing her passion was for animals. She has 4 children and 3 dogs. Has lived in the county her entire life.
Morgan is a 2002 graduate of Virginia State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She has been with Disputanta Animal Hospital since 2004. Her interests include small animal nutrition and preventive medicine. She lives with her husband, 2 children, 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 fish. Morgan is also an assistant barn manager and horseback riding instructor at a local horse stable and is co-owner of 7 horses. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and horses.
Jill has worked at Disputanta since 2005. She graduated from CNU with a B.S. in Biology. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing activities outside especially in warm weather.
Evelyn Joined Disputant Animal Hospital in 2014 and has loved her job for 20 years in veterinary field. She has dogs, horses, cats and now pot belly pigs. She enjoys traveling, hiking and antique shopping.
J.B. joined us in the summer of 2013. He is currently enrolled in college and works around his college schedule.
Donald joined our team in May 2019. He enjoys video games and playing with his two cats. His goal is to become a veterinary technician.
